Introduction to PHS:-

The school is situated in the posh area of the city Hayatabad Township. It was originally Health Technician Training center started in 1988. the institute was up graded to Public Health School in 1997. the institute imparts training to 25 students per year from different districts / agencies of the province.

Hayatabad Medical Complex and Job training. In addition to regular students other students of projects like MNCH FATA, CMW, also get training in the School. Hostel facilities for about 50 non local Students are available at the School premises.

Principal Message:-

The main focus is importing high quality Teaching + Training skills to the Female of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and FATA in the field of Reproduce Health, to improve the maternal and Newborn Mortality and Morbidity.   

Admissions (Criteria, Data etc):-

A.        Academic Requirement:

1.         FSc (Pre-Medical)       50% Marks Minimum (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as Compulsory subjects)

2.         Matric Science 55% Marks with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as Compulsory subjects.

B.        Other Requirements:

1.         Age                              :           15-35 years

2.         Gender                         :           Female

3.         Nationality                    :           Pakistani

4.         Domicile                       :           Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/FATA

5.         Marital Status               :           Preferably Un-married

6.         Physical Fitness            :           Medical Fitness Certificate from Medical Superintendent after selection of the candidate.

C.        Note:

1.         It the candidates are not available according to the merit criteria of the catchments area of the school, then it will be shifted to the centre pool of merit of the candidates of the same institution.

2.         Selection is strictly made on catchments area of the institute on open merit in the Districts/Agencies.

3.         If according to the criteria, the marks of two or more candidates for a single seat happen to be equal; their merit is determined by their ages according to the date of birth as per their metric certificate. The elder candidate is given preference.
