Introduction
The School of Nursing D I Khan was established in year 1977 at District Head Quarter Hospital Dera Ismail Khan and worked under the supervision of Medical Superintendent. In August 1999, it has come under the administrative control of Director General PHSA Peshawar. In 2003 School of Nursing was shifted to newly constructed building inside Mufti Mehmood Memorial Hospital D I Khan.
The School of Nursing D. I Khan upgraded to Government College of Nursing in 2020 and started BSN 4 years Degree Program with the annual intake of 50 students.
Vision
Vision of this Institution is to establish and develop regionally as a center of excellence for training and capacity building in health services delivery and Quality Education to the students of Nursing.
Affiliation and Registration
This college is registered with Pakistan Nursing Council Islamabad and affiliated with Khyber Medical University Peshawar for examination/degree.
School Building.
Two story Building, having administration offices, 4 number of lecture halls, each hall with 25 person capacity.
One Library, one Demonstration Hall. One auditorium equipped with Multimedia & all other required equipment.
New Academic Block and Labs as per PNC and KMU requirements are under construction.
Hostel Building
Two Story Hostel Building with 45 bed rooms, one dining hall, one common room, one warden room, one guest room and a Kitchen.
